"Leaf & Circle" Exhibit Comes to Prospect Park

Brooklyn printmaker Jessica Baker has taken a natural approach to art with her latest project, "Leaf & Circle."

The exhibit, which opens in Prospect Park on April 5, is an interesting mix of natural and manmade design. Baker uses leaves as canvases for her own prints and arrangements, with the aid of circular-shaped copper plate etchings and Plexiglas plates.

See the exhibit for free: The prints will be on display at the Prospect Park Audubon Center through May 26. On April 26 (5pm to 8pm), visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artist at a special reception. Otherwise, exhibit hours are Thursdays through Sundays, 12pm to 5pm.
