Stink Fest 2008: Calling All Cheese Lovers

The smell of cheese is in the air, meaning it's that time of year again -- time, that is, for Brooklyn's second ever Stinky Cheese Eating Contest. On Sunday, this annual showdown will fill Smith Street with competitive cheese eaters, all hoping to overtake last year's cheese eating champ, Oliver Butler, who managed to eat six ounces of Cantal in sixty seconds.

Stink Fest is part of the Smith Street Fun Day Fair, which will boast live music, drinks, snacks, and more. The fair will run this Sunday, June 22, from 11am to 6pm, and the contest will take place at 3pm. To compete, call (718) 522-7425. May the best (and bravest!) man win.
