Restaurants Open in Brooklyn on Christmas Day

Thursday's definitely going to be a merry day in Brooklyn, but with many businesses closed for Christmas, finding a restaurant that's open won't be easy. Try your luck at one of these spots, where the doors will be open and the food promises to be festive.
  • The Brazen Head pub on Atlantic Avenue (228 Atlantic Avenue; 917-710-6472) is hosting its annual "Legion of the Lost" pot luck dinner. Bring a dish if you'd like; the fun begins at 7pm.

  • At the River Café in DUMBO (1 Water St; 718-522-5200), you can enjoy a prix-fixe dinner with a side of amazing views of the Manhattan skyline. Feast on dishes like venison, Maine lobster, or foie gras. The four-course menu is $125, and the restaurant will be open from 1pm to 8:30pm.

  • If seafood sounds appealing, try the Pearl Room in Bay Ridge (8201 3rd Ave; 718-833-6666). Sit by the fireplace, and order from a delicious four-course menu ($55). Call ahead for reservations.

The Hideout will be serving late-nite tipples… (That’s drinks, to the laymen! ;) 266 Adelphi (near DeKalb.) $7 top shelf old-fashioned egg nog!
