2009 Mermaid Parade in Pictures

On Saturday, the mermaids (and mer-men) of Brooklyn celebrated all things ocean-related at the annual Mermaid Parade, despite cloudy skies and a rain-battered Coney Island. A search on Flickr yields great photos of the event, with all sorts of shots of costumed sea creatures living it up during the festivities.
