If you, like me, swoon at the sight of a homemade apple pie, then I suggest you make your way to the Sixth Annual Brooklyn Pie Social this Sunday. The event is sponsored by Bubby's (1 Main Street in Dumbo) and is open to bakers and samplers alike: $25 (or $5 and a pie) will get you 5 "tasting" tickets that you can share with your friends and family. Last year, the event drew over 400 people, so arrive early to get a good taste! The social will last from 12pm to 3pm.
