Whether you're single or in starry-eyed love, there's no denying that Valentine's Day is on its way. Try your luck at one of these romantic Brooklyn restaurants, or check out some of the listings below.
- The floating concert hall Bargemusic will be hosting two days of romantic classical sounds next weekend; a $50 price tag includes champagne and chocolates. My advice? Make your reservations NOW.
- For dinner with a side of culture, head to BAM in Fort Greene for a special screening of Frank Capra's "It Happened One Night," starring Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert. $64 will get you a ticket to the movie, as well as a four-course dinner.
- On Sunday, the Bell House encourages you to "find someone to french" at The Rejection Show: Valentine's Day Heartbreak Haven. Dedicated to anyone who's ever suffered through breakups, heartbreak, and/or love, the comedy show (plus plenty of booze) is guaranteed to help heal your wounds. Tickets are $10.
