In May: Head to Brooklyn Bridge Park for fun, free dance parties.
In June, July & August: Launch the season with an opening night concert in Prospect Park featuring Jimmy Cliff, and ending in August with Lyle Lovett. Sandwiched in-between are about two dozen eclectic, extraordinary, diverse events, from hip hop to Ballet Hispanico to a sing-along with the Muppet Movie. Toss in Angelique Kidjo's tribute to Kenyan Nobel Peace Laureate Wangari Maathai. Sweet Honey and the Rock. Keb' Mo'! And, and, and...
