Want to get into a good NYC public high school? Start this summer. NYC runs summer introductory programs in every borough.

The city high school admissions process is complicated, to say the least. So take some time and  learn more  about the admissions process and different kinds  of high school programs. And because high school is so important for getting into college, it's well worth the investment of a little time to get oriented.

  • Brooklyn    Thursday, July 12    Prospect Heights, 883 Classon Ave.
  • Brooklyn    Tuesday, July 17    Abraham Lincoln High School, 2800 Ocean Parkway
  • All sessions will cover the same material.

Specialized High Schools :  Think you might qualify for Stuyvesant, Bronx High School of Science, Brooklyn Tech or other specialized schools? Well, you won't know until you take the test. So find out more about this competitive placement exam and application process. You'll hear from Specialized High School representatives and get tips on how to prepare for the exam. There's another session in Manhattan.
