The 7th annual Brooklyn Book Festival, billed as New York's largest free literary event, is scheduled for Sunday, September 23, 2012 from 10 am to 6 pm in Downtown Brooklyn. Venues will include the historic Brooklyn Borough Hall, St. Francis College, the Brooklyn Historical Society, St. Ann's Church, the Brooklyn Heights Library and Columbus Park.
Festivities begin well before the actual day of the Festival. About 45 "Bookend Events" will offer literary aficionados literary experiences across the borough of Brooklyn from September 17 through the night of September 23 after the Festival.
