Add something substantial (ok, educational)  to your Halloween outings with the kids. Head to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens next weekend, and bring your kids to the "Book Tent" where they can meet as many as 15 different children's authors, hear stories read aloud, and have some literary fun.
