Apple Pie Martini for Thanksgiving, Williamsburg Style (Brooklyn, that is)

Hmmm...what could be more American than an apple pie martini?!

To get in the mood for the coming holiday festivities this Friday night, you might concoct the following;

Apple Pie Martini

(recipe compliments of MyMoon restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn):

  • 1/2 oz of simple syrup
  • 1/4 oz of lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 oz apple
  • 1 oz vanilla vodka
  • 1/2 oz Makers Mark bourbon
  • 3/4 oz Snap Liquor (by Art in the Age)
  • Shake, strain into martini glass; serve with cinnamon stick and candied ginger.

If you'd rather go out than drink in, then MyMoon, a Mediterranean style restaurant, is at 84 No. 10th Street, open dinner hours.
