Meanwhile, consider giving an advance holiday gift of a ticket or several to one of these events. During the month of November, right after Hurricane Sandy hit, there were a slew of fundraisers and benefit events. Let's hope the holiday spirit continues through December and beyond to help the thousands of New Yorkers still in need of emergency assistance.
