Two powerhouse non profits, Creative Time and New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), have teamed up to help artists impacted by Hurricane Sandy, and art lovers with deep pockets can find works by such artists as Robert Motherwell, Kiki Smith, David Hockney. The website shows estimated value and if you're lucky, you might be able to get a decent price. Proceeds help Sandy recovery in Brooklyn and other impacted areas.
