Yup, it's official. You'd be nuts to take your car into Manhattan and possibly Downtwon Brooklyn on the following official holiday gridlock aleart days: The Dept. of Transportation tries to keep things moving with their rather un-jolly sounding "Holiday Traffic Mitigation Plan." So be on the look out for right turn restrictions and unusual parking regulations, especially in Midtown Manhattan.
