Our very own homegrown Brooklyn Philharmonic will be coming back to Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) this year.
On June 8, 2013, in collaboration with four-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Erykah Badu, and and Bed-Stuy-born Mos Def, the Brooklyn Phil will marry hip-hop music and symphonic music in the headliner show You're Causing Quite a Disturbance. (Note: Formerly scheduled shows at the Millennium Theater in Brighton Beach and at Roulette in Downtown Brooklyn are being cancelled.)
Also, stay tuned for a schedule of neighborhood performances called Insider Tours, in Bed-Stuy, Brighton Beach and Downtown Brooklyn.
