Brooklyn's Borough Hall is part of the landscape of Downtown Brooklyn for local residents. That's where the Boro Prez operates. There are weekly farmers markets in the plaza in front of this lovely building. The outdoor Brooklyn Book Festival takes place here, too, as does the lighting of the Christmas tree and Hanukkah menorah, the GLBTQ annual wedding expo, Caribbean-American Month celebrations and so much more.
