Grammy Winner Patty Griffin Opens 2013 "Celebrate Brooklyn!" Concert Season in Prospect Park

Summer's around the corner...We know because the opening night celeb for  Celebrate Brooklyn! has just been announced.  GRAMMY® Award-winning singer-songwriter Patty Griffin opens the 35th year of this great series with a free concert June 5 at the Prospect Park Bandshell.  It's Griffin's first NYC appearance in over two years, so come hear songs from her new album, American Kid. Before the  8:15 P.M. concert, you can attend a fundraiser, Celebrate Brooklyn! Opening Night Gala, deservedly honoring Artistic Director Rachel Chanoff  among others.  Stay tuned for the full line up for the summer....
