If you can't afford to live in The Residences, one of Williamsburg's new condo ventures, you can still stay on the premises in its sister building, The Hotel Williamsburg at McCarren Park. A pretty fancy name for Williamsburg - and this hotel sounds like it will live up to its hype when it opens in March 2011. Guests will have access to a pool and bar on the outside patio. Restaurants are in talks to occupy the lobby, and there will be a rooftop bar with incredible views of the Manhattan skyline.
Room rates have not yet been set, but are estimated from $300 per night and up. And yes, there is in-room massage, room service, and more. Just across the street you'll find McCarren Park, and there's always the rest of the neighborhood, with its incredible restaurants and bars to keep you busy.
