Answer: A lot is new at Coney Island!

1. Coney Island Amuseument Park

Opened in mid April 2011, there's a new Scream Zone in Coney Island, located off the Coney Island Boardwalk between 12th and 15th Streets. It will feature what are being touted as four "high-thrill" new rides.

They are:

• the Sling Shot
• the Soaring Eagle
• Steeplechase Calvary Coaster
• the Zenobio

2. New York Aquarium at Coney Island

The New York Aquarium Conservation Hall, renovated and opened in 2011, has wonderful exhibits of ecosystems from the Great Lakes of Africa, the Flooded Forest of the Amazon and the Caribbean Coral Reef. It's beautiful and also educational. Watch a Video of the Caribbean Coral Reef and Ecosystems
