Question: When are St. Patrick's Day Parades in Park Slope & Bay Ridge, Brooklyn?
When and where are St. Patrick's Parades in Brooklyn in 2012?
Answer:

For as long as anyone can remember, Brooklyn has held not one, but two St. Patrick's Day Parades, on consecutive Sundays. Both are scheduled to not coincide with the big Manhattan St. Pat's parade. Expect bagpipes, kilts, tons of green, and lots of good cheer.

Here's the 2012 St. Patrick's Day Parade schedule for Brooklyn, NY.

Sunday, March 17, 2013 at noon: Park Slope St. Patrick's Day Parade

Park Slope's St. Patrick's Day Parade will "step-off," or begin, at 1 PM.

It will run from Prospect Park West to 15th Street, then down 15th Street to 7th Avenue to Union Street, then to Prospect Park West back to the starting point.)

For those inclined to make a full morning of it:

There's a 9 A.M. pre-Parade Mass at Holy Name Church at 245 Prospect Park West (between Windsor Pl & Prospect Ave).

At noon, the parade assembles at Prospect Park West & 14th St.

Then, the parade begins to move.

Sunday, March 24th, 2013 at 1 p.m. Bay Ridge Saint Patrick's Day Parade

According to Community Board 10: The Parade will form on 4th Avenue, 95th St. to Marine Ave., at 11:00 AM, and will begin at 1:00 PM.
