It's a nice way to spend a few hours with mom! Along the way you can pick up sandwiches or a coffee on Montague Street, one block away

Free admission for all mothers!
6. Make an Heirloom: Paint A Plate, Mug or Teapot
For a lifelong memory, have the kids paint their own plate, mug, or vase for a gift, working in the studios at one of Brooklyn's several painted pottery shops. Plan ahead, because it takes a few days for the store owners to fire the painted clay objects in a kiln.
