- SATURDAY, JUNE 30, 7:30 P.M ANGELIQUE KIDJOS "WOMEN WAGING PEACE" WITH LAURIE ANDERSON O "World music superstar" Kidjo presents a tribute to Wangari Maathai, the late Kenyan Nobel Peace Prize activist, with opening by world music mavin Somi and the inestimable Laurie Anderson. Note other events include a film screening at the Brooklyn Public Library, and a peace tree planting ceremony.
