May Festival in Brookyn: Sheepshead Bay's BayFest on the Waterfront

Want a taste of old Brooklyn? Head to Bayfest in May.

In an authentically picturesque setting, along ten fishing piers run by the NYC Parks Department, the volunteer-run BayFest in Brooklyn’s Sheespshead Bay is held the third Sunday of every May. The main feature is live music played along every one of ten piers. Entertainment includes dance troupes, a changing roster of musicians, a tiny pocket park transformed into a family-friendly free craft area, free fun, cool breezes — and a sense of community.

Sunday May 19, 2013, Noon - 6 PM
