EATING IN A RESTAURANT FOR THANKSGIVING CAN BE FUN
Not sure you feel like cooking a turkey this year? Waiting for an invite to Aunt Suzi's only to learn that she's headed to Florida instead of serving 10 hungry relatives? Is your kitchen renovation way behind schedule?
Try these restaurants for a Thanksgiving dinner out in Brooklyn. Note that not all Brooklyn restaurants even take reservations for parties under 6 on a regular basis, and some are already booked up. The more than 3 dozen restaurants on this list, however, 1) do take reservations, 2)are sufficiently highly regarded to be listed on Open Table or reviewed positively on other online sources, and 2) as of this writing, still have some afternoon availability on Thanksgiving Day.
So get in gear and call ASAP to book your Thanksgiving meal in Brooklyn. What's the rush? Well, Brooklyn restaurants are in high demand, and who wants to miss Thanksgiving?
Last note: While there's no cleanup involved with a restaurant meal on Thanksgiving...neither do you get leftovers!
The following list is organized by cuisine type. Please be aware that ethnic restaurants may not serve typical American Thanksgiving fare. If you must have sweet potatoes and roast turkey, ask in advance what their special menu is for that particular day.
