Curation
There is an incredible amount of merchandise in this store. If you are looking for something specific, you might get frustrated digging through the racks. That said, if you are just browsing, or have a vague idea of what you're looking for, the curation of this store makes it easy to find. The racks are organized by type of garment - skirts are together, shirts are together, fancy dresses take up an entire rack and more casual dresses are grouped together, making it easy to browse.
Price Range
In the front room, most of the pieces range from $15-$35, no matter what they are. You'd be hard-pressed to find a dress in the front room priced above $40, making Stella Dallas a very affordable place to shop. However, if you're looking for something fancier, head to the back room - the pieces in this part of the store are older, making them more expensive. Dresses here range from $75-$150, and there are certainly leather jackets and such that go for much more, from $300-$500. In the back room you'll also find vintage children's clothing, which is hard to shop due to unusual sizing, but can make great gifts.
Shoes
In the front room, lining both sides of the store, you'll find women's shoes on one side and men's on the other. Stella Dallas has a fantastic selection of men's vintage shoes. For women, there are boots, boots, and more boots. If you're looking for some vintage cowboy boots, head straight to Stella Dallas.
Accessories
The store could use more vintage bags - not to say their selection is small, it just seems small compared to the amount of clothing in the store. You'll find leather bags near the women's shoes and other types of purses near the front of the store. There's a nice selection of sunglasses, belts, and scarves as well.
Dressing Room
The three dressing rooms at Stella Dallas are a bit uncomfortable, meaning, they are small and there are no mirrors, so you must exit back into the main store to parade in front of a gigantic mirror.
