First Saturdays at the Brooklyn Museum

A Night of Free Fun and Culture

On the first Saturday of every month, the Brooklyn Museum opens its doors to the public and hosts a free evening of arts and entertainment.

The specific programming for the First Saturdays events change monthly but usually include special music and dance performances, arts and crafts, movie screenings, art discussions, and more. Visitors are also able to just peruse the museum's galleries--which hold Egyptian masterpieces, contemporary art, and more--at their own pace.

While tickets to First Saturdays are free, the Museum Café offers food and beverages, along with wine and beer, so bring money for refreshments.
