When the Brooklyn Children's Museum opened in 1899, it broke ground as the first museum ever completely dedicated to children. Today the museum boasts award-winning interactive exhibitions, a rooftop terrace, and ongoing events for children of all ages.
Located near Grand Army Plaza in Park Slope, the Brooklyn Children's Museum is currently undergoing a massive renovation that will double its space. The museum is closed to the public until September of 2008.
In the interim, the museum has created On-The-Go events that bring its programs into the community.
