Guide Review

There are times when the fancy mixology cocktail trend is just too much. Sometimes, you just want to kick back a beer and a shot of well-whiskey. Those times call for The Levee. Start off your night with a Sportsman: $4 gets you a can of Black Label and a shot of Evan Williams. If you're in the mood for something sweeter, the Beam & Cream ($6.50) is a cocktail of Jim Beam and Cream Soda. Top everything off with a Frito Pie or a Hot Dog: The Levee serves food until last call at 4 a.m.

In the back you'll find a pool table (with a waiting list on weekends) and the video game Big Buck Hunter where you can shoot deer with your friends. If you need some air, The Levee recently added an outdoor patio for smokers. Whether you're here for a special occasion, or if it's just Thursday night, it's impossible not to have a great time in this fun neighborhood bar.
