Directions to IKEA and Red Hook Brooklyn from Manhattan via the IKEA Ferry

By IKEA Ferry: Take a fun 20 minute boat ride from Manhattan! An IKEA Water Taxi runs from South Street Seaport to IKEA's Terminal. This IKEA ferry leaves from Pier 11 (4 blocks south of the South Street Seaport). The ferry runs starting at 2 p.m. every 40 minutes.

Is the IKEA ferry free? Yes, on weekends. And it's free on weekdays for customers if you save your receipts. Here's how it works:
Weekdays, it costs $5 each way, though if you present a $10 IKEA receipt you get a free ride back to Manhattan, or if you present IKEA with your ferry ticket they'll deduct $5 from any purchase of $10 or more.
Weekends, it's free, running every 20 minutes from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
