Celebrate Brooklyn!, the popular concert series, just gets better every year. Known for its eclectic programming, great music, spirited local audiences and $3 admission fee (and that's just "recommended"), it's one of the best things to do in a New York Summer. In 2012, Celebrate Brooklyn!, brings over two dozen different shows to the Prospect Park Bandshell. All are FREE with $3 suggested contribution.

Tuesday, June 5, 8 P.M. Opening night concert with Jimmy Cliff, reggae legend. Celebrate Brooklyn!’s Opening Night Gala starts at 5:30 P.M $325 and up, patrons get dinner, cocktails and reserved seats with post-concert dancing under a huge tent.
SATURDAY, JUNE 9, 7:30 P.M AFROCUBISM An all-star collaboration between musicians from Cuba and Mali.
