Super Bowl 2010: Brooklyn Parties

Watch the big game at a Brooklyn bar.

Can't make it to Florida this year to watch the Colts take on the Saints? Try catching the game on Sunday, February 7 at one of these Brooklyn bars, where you can cheer on your favorite team with a cheap drink in hand.

If you know of an event not listed here, tell me about it.

Brazen Head

228 Atlantic Ave
(718) 488-0430

Head to Brazen Head on Atlantic Avenue for dollar-off cask beers and, if you're lucky, a free prize or two. The bar will be serving free chili (of the traditional and vegetarian varieties), along with other snacks from 6pm on. The game will be showing on four screens.

Trash Bar

256 Grand Street
(718) 599-1000

Make your way to this Williamsburg Super Bowl party for free food, a little bit of live rock and roll, and football on a big screen. The event is free, but $6 will get you an open bar from 8pm to 9pm.

The Bell House

149 Seventh St
(718) 643-6510

There will be plenty of beer and specialty drinks (think: Peyton Manhattan) flowing at the Bell House's free Super Bowl party, which starts at 6pm. Throw around some yellow flags and try your luck at winning the MVP prize, which will be awarded to the "best fan" at the end of the game.

Freddy's Bar and Backroom

485 Dean St
(718) 622-7035

There won't be any Super Bowl drink specials at Freddy's, but the beer here is always cheap. Hit the bar up for a laidback night -- The game will be showing on three screens.

Pacific Standard

82 4th Ave
(718) 858-1951

Gather a group of beer-loving friends before you head to Pacific Standard on Super Bowl Sunday. The Brooklyn bar will be showing the game on a large screen, and its pitcher specials will be perfect for a small crowd.
