All of the young movie fiends in your household will want to know about the upcoming BAMkids Film Festival in Brooklyn. The annual event, presented by the Brooklyn Academy of Music, showcases 50 of the world's best children's films, so there's sure to be a movie to please even the toughest kid critic.
Plus, the fun doesn't stop with the films! This year, the festival takes place on March 8 and 9 and includes a bevy of kid-friendly activities like karaoke, music, and face-painting. A few filmmakers will also be on hand to discuss their work.
Tickets will sell quickly, so plan ahead and buy your movie passes now. Adult tickets are $11, and children's tickets are $7.50. Music shows are $7.
