Prospect Park Opening Day
Hit Brooklyns favorite park for a day of springtime celebration. Opening Day festivities kick off with the annual Little League Parade at 7th Avenue and Carroll Street (ends at Bandshell). Then the Carousel opens for the season, and the Audubon Center starts running its electric boat tours again. Take a ride, or pitch in to help clean up the park during the official Opening Day Clean-Up.

Cyclone Roller Coaster Opening Day
The Cyclone opens to the public today for its 82nd year of operation. In honor of the occasion, "Miss Cyclone" and Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will break a bottle of chocolate egg cream against the coasters lead car. The first 100 people in line will ride free.
