Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, who designed Manhattan’s Central Park, said they considered Prospect Park to be their best work (experts say they didn’t make the same mistakes twice).
Designed in 1866, and now a historic landmark, the 526 acres of rolling green lawns, wooded areas, streams, brooks, and lake make this a great environment for biking, boating, walking, romancing, and relaxing.
The grand entrance to Prospect Park is at Grand Army Plaza.
