Guide Review
Fatty Cue is simply one of the best restaurants in Williamsburg, if not in all of Brooklyn, if not in all of New York and the United States of America. Who doesn't love succulent, fatty pork ribs ($14), marinated in the perfect mix of savory and sweet? Fatty Cue's Asian approach to BBQ has stepped it up a notch, making it the most elegant BBQ you'll ever eat.
Top off your meal with a bowl of spicy noodles ($11) or an order of toast ($4) which you can then dip into a side of master fat. It's the most indulgent thing you'll ever taste. The Bobo Chicken (half $17, whole $30) has been a popular dish, but why order chicken at a BBQ place? The Red Curry Half Duck ($35) is a much more exciting option if you aren't in the mood for pork. Honestly, why not just order the whole menu for yourself? Everything on it is delicious.
The entrees here are meant to be shared, so grab your friends and go to Fatty Cue. The restaurant smells like a meat-lover's dream, and is always bustling with activity. On the weekends it bustles to the point of being over capacity, so go early or go during the week. If you don't mind the wait, sit at the bar and sip one of their fantastic cocktails. (Panchito Special for $8: 1 Tecate, 1 shot of Tequila, 1 shot of Malay Sangrita). Don't plan any major activity after dinner here, however. You'll be so stuffed with delicious food you'll have to call it a night.
