Guide Review
Hiding on Berry Street between South 1st and South 2nd, you'll find La Superior, brimming with people waiting for a table. The wait is well worth it. Once inside, get the most bang for your buck with a gigantic margarita for $10. (The smaller option is $5). The tacos are the shining stars of this establishment: the chorizo or carne asada are spiced perfectly. If you're looking for a real kick, the camarones, or shrimp tacos, are delightfully spicy. All of these can be yours for just $2.50 each. Quesdillas are on the menu, but you'll find them a bit different from what you're used to: these are served in bowls, with accompanying tortillas. A few tacos or quesadillas and guacamole make for a delicious dinner at little cost, but if you're feeling more adventurous bigger plates like the pig's feet tostada or the shrimp in banana leaves are sure to impress your foodie friends.
With lunch specials and brunch on the weekends, La Superior is a welcome addition to the Williamsburg neighborhood. After one trip, you'll find you can't stay away for very long.
