Guide Review
The Bedford boasts not only a delicious dinner menu but also a solid weekend brunch, featuring a fantastic Oyster Po Boy and delectable Steak and Eggs. For dinner, highlights include the Burger ($15), and the Pork Shank ($22). The dinner specials (for instance: Pork Belly and Squab) are original and usually *the* thing to order. The bar does excellent cocktails during mealtime, but if you'd just like to drink there's a gorgeous candlelit bar attached via backroom.
The atmosphere at The Bedford is so relaxing and romantic it's difficult to believe Williamsburg's CD store, Sound Fix, once resided in the space. Though the prices on the menu could stand to drop by two or three dollars each, a night at The Bedford is an oasis away from the hustle-bustle just outside.
