Guide Review - Alma Restaurant
Alma may be slightly overpriced, but the superb views the restaurant offers of downtown Manhattan make shelling out a few extra bucks for dinner seem worthwhile. Sit on Alma's breezy rooftop terrace with a glass of homemade sangria, and you'll feel like you're on top of the world.Tables at Alma fill up quickly, so arrive as early as possible to avoid a long wait. If there's a line to get in, relax with a papaya mint mojito or one of the restaurant's tequilas (they have more than 20) while you wait for a seat.
The restaurant itself is made up of three stories: On the first floor is a bar called B61, the second floor is an indoor dining room, and the third, most coveted floor is the rooftop terrace, where Alma gets bonus points for its outdoor heaters. They make for comfortable dining even in the chilliest of months.
