The Brooklyn Flea isn't only Brooklyn's largest flea market, it's the biggest open air flea market in all of New York City! Located in Brooklyn's Fort Greene neighborhood, the Brooklyn Flea offers new and vintage goods for shoppers of all kinds.

When is the Brooklyn Flea?

The Brooklyn Flea takes place every Saturday from 10am to 5pm.

Where is the Brooklyn Flea?

The Brooklyn Flea is located at the lot at Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School (Lafayette Avenue between Clermont Avenue and Vanderbilt Avenue) in Fort Greene. You can take the G to Clinton Avenue, the A/C to Lafayette Avenue, or the 2/3/4/5/B/D/Q/M/N/R to Atlantic Avenue.

What is the Brooklyn Flea?

Founded by the masterminds behind popular Brooklyn real estate blog Brownstoner.com in April 2008, the Brooklyn Flea brings together some of the city's most popular sellers of vintage goods, clothes, crafts, jewelry, and more. Over 200 vendors and stores, including many of my favorite thrift shops (Go Fish and Housing Works, for instance) are often there hawking their goods.

Once you finish bargain hunting, explore the neighborhood! There are plenty of great restaurants and bars in Fort Greene, or head to BAM for an afternoon matinee.
