Getting to Ikea Brooklyn by Subway
There are no subway stations in the immediate viciniy of Ikea, but shuttle buses (see below) will pick you up at nearby stations. You have two subway options:
- Take the F, D, M, or R train to the 4th Avenue/9th Street station.
- take the 2, 3, 4, 5, M, or R train to Court Street/Borough Hall.
Getting to Ikea Brooklyn by Bus and Shuttle
Two MTA public buses stop at Ikea: the B77, which begins in Park Slope, and the B61, which runs from downtown Brooklyn.
Free Ikea shuttle buses also run throughout the week: One stops at the 4th Avenue/9th Street subway stop, and the other stops at the Borough Hall subway stop in Brooklyn Heights. These free Ikea shuttle buses run every 30 minutes from 3pm to 8pm on weekdays and every 20 minutes from 11am to 9pm on weekends.
Getting to Ikea Brooklyn by Water Taxi
If you're in Manhattan, the free Ikea Water Taxi may be your best transportation bet. Hop on at Pier 11 (4 blocks south of the South Street Seaport) throughout the day for a 20-minute ride that will have you shopping in no time.
