Recently restored, the historic Metropolitan Recreation Center has evolved to meet the needs of Williamsburg's changing community. It is one of seven such indoor recreation facilities run by the New York Parks Department in Brooklyn, NY. Check out the free after school children's programs, women's only pool hours, and other offerings.
For Kids Afterschool programs are held Monday-Friday, 3-6 p.m.
FREE Shape Up NYC Intensati classes are held at the Metropolitan Recreation Center for participants of all ages.
