Nothing says winter in Brooklyn like ice skating in Prospect Park's Wollman Rink. This 26,600 square foot ice skating rink opens to the public every year from mid-November through March.

Ice Skating in Brooklyn: The Basics

  • The 2009 ice skating season in Brooklyn begins November 26.
  • Tickets for adults are $5. Kids' tickets are $3.
  • Skate rental is $6.50.

Ice Skating in Brooklyn: Hours
  • Monday: 8:30am to 2pm
  • Tuesday: 8:30am to 5pm
  • Wednesday: 8:30am to 3pm
  • Thursday: 8:30am to 6pm
  • Friday: 8:30am to 9pm
  • Saturday: 10am to 1pm; 2pm to 6pm; 7pm to 10pm
  • Sunday: 10am to 1pm; 2pm to 6pm

Ice Skating in Brooklyn: How to Get There
  • Wollman Rink is located between Prospect Park's Lake and Concert Grove. To get there, enter at the Lincoln Road & Ocean Avenue entrance or the Parkside & Ocean Avenue entrance to Prospect Park.
