From the article: Brooklyn Museums
Citing the economy, our feisty Brooklyn Museum just cancelled a very controversial show for 2012 on the history of graffiti and street art, Art in the Streets (see cancelled show here),now at LA's Museum of Contemporary Art. The Brooklyn Museum press release cites "the current financial climate.” But this show has been criticized for “institutionalizing vandalism," according to the LA Times. New York's got graffiti galore, and the Brooklyn Museum has shown history of graffiti shows as long ago as 2006 too! What’s your opinion? Art? Or institutionalizing vandalism?

Graffiti-Art or Not?
