Food trucks are a hit on the West Coast, but we don't have many (yet) in Brooklyn. Last Sunday's experimental "Food Truck Rally" at Grand Army Plaza entrance to Prospect Park brought out over a thousand hungry Brooklynites, who sampled 1,000 lobster rolls, pounds of dumplings, souvlaki and gallons of ice cream.

Floyd Bennett Campground, Brooklyn
- I was there last weekend. Not many Campers but the week before they were filled. It IS safe and there is a US Parks Service visible presence.
